Update on an interesting session on city of Rotterdam, trying to become fully circular Thu, 4 June 2020
The session discussed on the aim of city of Rotterdam to achieve circular opportunities for food and energy streams, construction sector, consumer goods and healthcare. The port of Rotterdam is strategically positioned and is trying to transform as a circular port with a leading position in raw material productivity and low-carbon, circular production. The city is also working to increase the number of jobs related to the circular economy. The session conducted in association with of Tondo, Superuse Studios and Circle Economy, discussed in detail how circularity of a city can be ensured and quantified, various disruptive projects by Superuse Studios developed in Rotterdam and an exciting overview on circular city -Rotterdam by Circle Economy.
The subsequent Tondo series in continuation will try to discuss the role of Artificial Intelligence in implementing Circular Economy. The session will happen on 9 July 2020 (18:00-19:00 EST)
